Civilization began in Morocco about 5000 years ago and evidence suggests that early man existed there long before that. The Berbers are the indigenous people; however, today the population is divided between urban and agrarian. For the most part, Arabs live in the cities and Berbers populate the countryside.

Morocco is a kaleidoscope of sights and sounds of monumental but intriguing proportions. It has architectural wonders to explore endlessly. The labyrinth of Medinas, or walled bazaars, wind and twist in every direction, crowded with a variety of businesses and merchants eager to sell their wares. Around every corner, I expected to be amaze and energized - and I was.
